Refuse Loader (Experienced)

We are seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to join our team in collecting and removing recycling and household waste from residential, commercial, and public areas. Working as part of a crew, you will support the driver and fellow loaders to ensure efficient, safe, and timely waste collection in accordance with local authority guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and load refuse, recycling, and garden waste into designated collection vehicles.
  • Ensure waste is collected from the correct locations and report any access or contamination issues.
  • Return bins and containers neatly to their original locations after emptying.
  • Assist the driver with safe manoeuvring and reversing where required.
  • Follow all health and safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
  • Identify and report hazardous or contaminated waste, damaged bins, or safety concerns.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous approach when interacting with members of the public, representing the company or council positively at all times.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous Loading experience is essential.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Punctual, dependable, and a strong team player.
  • Good level of physical fitness, with the ability to walk long distances and lift heavy items.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
  • Applicants must live locally within Bedford / Bedfordshire.

Weather Conditions

  • Predominantly outdoor work in varying weather conditions.

Onsite Car & Van Driver

Key Responsibilities: 

We are seeking on-site drivers (must be able to drive manual & automatic)

  • To check vehicles and move cars around large fleet site.
  • Safety & speed awareness
  • Strong parking abilities

Key Requirements:

  • Essential: Driving Licence (must be able to drive manual & automatic)
  • Ideally full / clean driving licence – no more than 3 points on licence, and no previous DR10
  • At least 2 years driving experience
  • Over the age of 21

Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Temp role

Mon – Fri, 7:30 – 16:00

Location: Bedfordshire (need own transport / no public transport available)

HGV Driver Class 2

Maintenance Operative

We are seeking a reliable a proactive Maintenance Operative to support the smooth running, safety, and upkeep of our site. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys practical work, problem‑solving, and maintaining high standards across a busy operational environment. You will play a key part in ensuring the site remains clean, functional, and safe for all staff and visitors.

 

  • Full UK Driving Licence – is essential for operating site vehicles and moving between areas. Ability to drive manual and automatic cars, including vans.
  • Counterbalance Forklift Licence – is essential for handling materials and supporting site operations. (need a valid licence) cannot be in house licence.
  • Experience or and interest in general maintenance, facilities work, or groundskeeping.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and undertaking physically demanding tasks.
  • A practical mindset with the ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
  • Good communication (level of English) and a strong awareness of health & safety standards and can follow site procedures at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out a wide range of ad hoc maintenance tasks, including minor repairs, basic fixes, and general upkeep across the site.
  • Support facilities maintenance, such as painting, decorating, basic carpentry, and small improvement projects and cleaning steel.
  • Perform manual handling duties, including moving equipment, materials, and waste safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness by completing general site cleaning, clearing debris, and ensuring all areas remain tidy and hazard‑free.
  • Manage waste streams responsibly by removing waste, segregating recycling, and following site environmental policies.
  • Operate and drive site maintenance vehicles, ensuring safe use and reporting any defects.
  • Assist with grounds maintenance, including grass cutting, hedge trimming, weed control, and general outdoor upkeep.
  • Conduct routine checks around the site to identify issues early and report them promptly.
  • Support the wider facilities and operations team with any additional tasks as required.

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday,

Time: 7:00am – 3:30pm

Pay Rate: £13.81+ per hour

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Administrator / to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing correspondence via email, phone, and written communication with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Data entry using various software programmes such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspace etc.
  • Scheduling appointments, meetings.
  • Preparing reports, presentations, and other documentation as required.
  • Handling incoming calls with proper phone etiquette and directing enquiries appropriately.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous office or administrative experience is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications.
  • Strong typing skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Good phone etiquette and professional communication skills.
