Cook/ Chef

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Adapt meals for special diets. (e.g, Diabetic, low sodium, gluten free, vegetarian).
  • Liaise with care staff about individual residents’
  • Work with care staff to ensure meals support resident’s health conditions.
  • Maintain portion control and consistency.
  • Ensure meals are served on time.
  • Follow food hygiene and sanitary kitchen environment.
  • Ensure allergens are managed safely.

Key Requirements:

  • Must have a DBS.
  • Previous Kitchen experience is essential.
  • Food hygiene qualification or equivalent, or commitment to achieve with induction period. 
  • Able to work weekends and bank holidays.

Hours: 07:00am – 14:00pm

Pay: £15 per hour 

Forklift / Handyman

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a counterbalance forklift for loading, unloading, and moving materials.
  • Carry out general handyman and maintenance tasks as required.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation across the site (general housekeeping).
  • Undertake occasional driving duties (manual and automatic vehicles).
  • Support day-to-day site operations and assist colleagues as needed.

Key Requirements:

  • Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential).
  • Full UK Driving Licence – able to drive both manual and automatic vehicles.
  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
  • Good communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude.
  • Comfortable working outdoors and undertaking physical tasks.

Hours: Monday to Friday

07:30am – 16:00pm

Pay: £12.21 per hour 

Kitchen Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help prepare meals for residents.
  • Keep all kitchen areas clean and hygienic and cleaning schedules, including deep cleaning.
  • Following health and safety rules in the kitchen and report any hazards or concerns.
  • Assist the cook with basic food preparation such as frying, boiling, steaming, making salads, sandwiches, and snacks.
  • Help set up a clear dining areas, including furniture and tables.
  • Restock kitchen as needed.
  • Wash dishes, utensils, cooking equipment, and kitchen machinery.

Key Requirements:

  • Must have a valid DBS.
  • Must have previous kitchen experience.
  • Food hygiene qualification or equivalent, or commitment to achieve within induction period.
  • can work alternate weekends and bank holidays to ensure the nutritional needs of residents are met. 

Hours: 8:00-18:00 (16 hours)

TIG Welder

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform TIG Welding on various materials, ensuring high-quality welds that meet specifications. 
  • Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing metal parts. 
  • Conduct inspections of welds to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following health and safety regulations.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in TIG welding (1 year required)
  • Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques (1 year required)
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
  • Mechanical knowledge to understand machinery operations and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work well within a team environment.

Lead Street Scene Driver (LGV)

Key Responsibilities:

      • Clean Streets thoroughly and safely. 
      • Complete daily departmental documentation, including vehicle check sheets and accident forms.
      • Carry out daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance on the allocated vehicle.
      • Report incidents, accidents, and any vehicle or plant damage to the Street Scene Supervisor. 
      • Clean internal and external parts of the vehicle during checks.
      • Support or supervise additional cleansing staff in designated areas.
      • Drive and manoeuvre vehicles safely and correctly, following Traffic Regulations.
      • Liaise with Street Scene Management about any operational problems.
      • Provide guidance to the public about ongoing work and offer waste-disposal information when requested.
      • Follow all Health & Safety requirements, use safety equipment, adhere to training and operational codes of practice. 
      • Perform any other duties appropriate to the grade of the role.

Key Requirements:

  • Clean Category C Driving Licence and Driver CPC.
  • Aware of Highway dangers.
  • Good Communication and strong customer service.
  • Able to follow instructions, complete paperwork. and read maps.
  • Can follow Health & Safety procedures.
  • Experience in manual work, including safe loading/ unloading.

HGV Class 2 - Refuse Driver

We are seeking experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our team. 

  • Main role will be to drive around a small team of loaders to residential and private dwellings collecting waste.
  • You maybe required to help the loaders occasionally with loading the bins but this would 

Key Requirements:

  • Essential: HGV class 2 Driving Licence 
  • At least 1 year experience driving HGV class 2
  • Must have rear steer drive experience

Carpenter/ Joiner

Key Responsibilities:

      • Manufacture and assemble high-quality bespoke doors and joinery products.

      • Use routers and jigs to accurately fit a variety of locking systems and hinges to custom specifications.

      • Work from detailed technical drawings, interpreting and executing complex joinery designs.

      • Manufacturing heritage windows and doors, using traditional carpentry techniques where required.

      • Ensure all finished products meet our exacting quality standards

      • Work collaboratively with other joiners, designers, and installers to ensure smooth project completion.

      • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.

    Manufacture and assemble high-quality bespoke doors and joinery products.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a carpenter or bench joiner, ideally in a bespoke or heritage setting.
  • Competence in using routers and other specialist woodworking tools.
  • Knowledge of fitting multi-point and custom locking systems.
  • Ability to work with hardwoods and traditional materials.
  • Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt techniques to suit individual projects.

Environmental Health Officer (Part-Time)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure compliance with health and safety.
  • Investigate complaints related to environmental health issues, including food safety, waste management, and pollution control.
  • Prepare reports and document findings, take actions taken during inspections.
  • Collaborate with local authorities and stakeholders to develop strategies for improving public health standards.
  • Provide guidance and training to businesses and the community on best practices.
  • Perform root cause analysis to identify underlying issues contributing to health hazards.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in environmental health.

Key Requirements

  • Must have an accredited Degree OR Diploma in Environmental Health.
  • Applicants shall be registered with Environmental Health Registration Board (EHRB) as a registered EHP or REnvH or equivalent.
  • Requires experience in commercial environmental health, including enforcement, licensing, and nuisance control.
  • Food Safety knowledge would be an advantage but not essential.
  • Must have strong regulatory experience, including evidence gathering, formal enforcement, legal notices, and successful outcomes such as prosecutions or licensing.
  • Demonstrate a positive ‘Can-Do’ and professional attitude to work whilst being approachable and adaptable.
  • Must be able to work unsociable hours as and when work demands require.
  • Must have Drivers Licence and access to own vehicle.
