HGV Driver Class 2

Key Responsibilities: 

We are seeking experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our team. 

  • Main role will be to drive around a small team of loaders to residential and private dwellings collecting waste.
  • You maybe required to help the loaders occasionally with loading the bins but this would 

Key Requirements:

  • Essential: HGV class 2 Driving Licence 
  • At least 1 year experience driving HGV class 2
  • Must have rear steer drive experience 

Job Type: Full-time, Temp to Perm

Hours: Mon – Fri, 6am – 2pm, 37 hrs 

Location: Bedford

Pay: £14.73 per hour – increases after 12 weeks

 

Forklift / Handyman

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a counterbalance forklift for loading, unloading, and moving materials.
  • Carry out general handyman and maintenance tasks as required.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation across the site (general housekeeping).
  • Undertake occasional driving duties (manual and automatic vehicles).
  • Support day-to-day site operations and assist colleagues as needed.

Key Requirements:

  • Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential).
  • Full UK Driving Licence – able to drive both manual and automatic vehicles.
  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
  • Good communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude.
  • Comfortable working outdoors and undertaking physical tasks.

Hours: Monday to Friday

07:30am – 16:00pm

Plumber (on hold)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake required plumbing repairs and installations, maintain safety security and work conditions of the Councils property portfolio.
  • Ensure small repairs are carried out within timescales and high standard.
  • To support the team with service needs by completing minor repairs and working across trades during peaks and troughs of demand.
  • Update Concerto system, Operate a PDA to update works status and image upload.
  • Be responsible for works van, tools, and equipment.
  • Report any accidents to comply with health and safety.

Key Requirements:

  • Must be qualified yo NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing or have completed City & Guilds in Plumbing.
  • Completed apprenticeship, and have practical experience, preferably in repairs and maintenance environment, ideally for public buildings.
  • Completed Asbestos Awareness Training.
  • Computer Literate
  • Hold Full UK licence
  • Have own tools.

Mon – Wed 08.00 -16.30
Thu – Fri 08:00 – 15.30

Field Service Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to support our growing customer base across Ireland, the UK, and Europe. We specialise in the design, manufacture, and installation of salt saturation and brine production systems, supplying bespoke equipment to a wide range of clients.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and travelling across a wide geographical area.

Service Area

You must be based in the East Anglia region, and live close to Luton airport or Stansted airport, the field area to cover is:

  • Northampton to Norwich
  • Cambridge (M11 corridor) to Ipswich and Southend
  • M23, M20 and the Southeast coast

You must be comfortable travelling extensively and staying away from home when required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install Brine Stations at customer sites in UK.
  • Install Brine Station Control Units onto UK-manufactured GRP tanks.
  • Conduct repairs, servicing, and maintenance of Brine Stations across England and Scotland
  • Complete annual decommissioning and recommissioning of Brine Stations
  • Provide customer training and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Always represent the company professionally

Key Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel and stay away during the week, including occasional weekends or busy seasonal periods (e.g., cold spells)
  • Proven experience in construction, plumbing, electronics, or electrical engineering
  • Excellent electrical fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
  • Full, clean Irish/EU/UK driving licence.
  • Valid passport and willingness to travel internationally when required.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Competent computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel)
  • Basic understanding of IT systems
  • High standards of client care and professionalism

Salary: £40,000–£60,000 per year (DOE & hours)
