Onsite Driver

We are seeking on-site drivers (must be able to drive manual & automatic)

  • To check vehicles and move cars around large fleet site.

Key Requirements:

  • Essential: Full UK Driving Licence
  • Clean driving licence – no more than 6 points on licence, and no previous DR10
  • Held licence for over 

    Hours: Monday to Friday

    8:00am – 16:00pm

    Location: Pavenham

    Pay: £12.50 per hour

    Yard Operative

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Safely operate a counterbalance forklift for loading, unloading, and moving materials.
    • Cleaning Steels
    • Carry out general handyman and maintenance tasks as required.
    • Maintain cleanliness and organisation across the site (general housekeeping).
    • Undertake occasional driving duties (manual and automatic vehicles).
    • Support day-to-day site operations and assist colleagues as needed.

    Key Requirements:

    • Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence and CANNOT BE IN HOUSE LICENCE.
    • Full UK Driving Licence – able to drive both manual and automatic vehicles.
    • Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
    • Good communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude.
    • Comfortable working outdoors and undertaking physical tasks.

    Hours: Monday to Friday

    8:00am – 16:00pm

    Forklift / Handyman

    Administrator (Excel)

    We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrator who has experience in customer service and administration. Personable and confident using Excel to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing daily transport administrative tasks, using excel/ spreadsheets/ data and supporting staff to enhance overall team productivity. 

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage  office supplies, equipment, and inventory to maintain an efficient workspace.
    • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, letters, and phone calls.
    • Organise and maintain filing systems, both electronic and paper based.
    • Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks and record management.
    • Ensure the office environment is clean, safe, and welcoming for employees and visitors.

    Key Requirements:

    • Proven experience in an administrative and office management role.
    • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suit (Word, Excel, Outlook).
    • Experience and ability to use Excel and Spreadsheet.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
    • A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to multitask effectively.
    • Multi- task and deal with general car/ transport administration duties.
    • Good communication with car dealerships, onsite crew & suppliers.
    • Knowledge of car wholesale/ leasing services (desirable but not a essential)

    Plumber

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Undertake required plumbing repairs and installations, maintain safety security and work conditions of the Councils property portfolio.
    • Ensure small repairs are carried out within timescales and high standard.
    • To support the team with service needs by completing minor repairs and working across trades during peaks and troughs of demand.
    • Update Concerto system, Operate a PDA to update works status and image upload.
    • Be responsible for works van, tools, and equipment.
    • Report any accidents to comply with health and safety.

    Key Requirements:

    • Must be qualified yo NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing or have completed City & Guilds in Plumbing.
    • Completed apprenticeship, and have practical experience, preferably in repairs and maintenance environment, ideally for public buildings.
    • Completed Asbestos Awareness Training.
    • Computer Literate
    • Hold Full UK licence
    • Have own tools.

    Hours:

    Mon – Wed 08.00 -16.30
    Thu – Fri 08:00 – 15.30

    Kitchen Assistant

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Help prepare meals for residents.
    • Keep all kitchen areas clean and hygienic and cleaning schedules, including deep cleaning. 
    • Follow health and safety rules in the kitchen and report any hazards or concerns.
    • Assist the cook with basic food preparation such as frying, boiling, steaming, and making salads, sandwiches and snacks. 
    • Help set up and clear dining areas, including furniture and tables.
    • Restock satellite kitchens as needed.
    • Wash dishes, utensils, cooking equipment, and kitchen machinery. 

    Key Requirements:

    • Must have a DBS.
    • Must have a previous kitchen experience.
    • Food hygiene qualifications or equivalent, or commitment to achieve within induction period.
    • Can work alternate weekends and bank holidays to ensure the nutritional needs of residents are met.

    Hours: Mon – Fri, 8:00-17:00, 37 hrs 

    Location: Puttenhoe

    Pay: £12.50 per hour
